What the hell tire pressure are you guys running with 225-50-16s on 7" factory wheels?

I was always convinced 32 was the number but I'm hearing that is too high.

Bought new Yokahamas and they are saying 30 is Max.

Look soft to me.

Tire pressure can be dependent on how you drive. The factory rating (30) is a compromise for comfort and handling and good for most people. I ran my front at 41, rear at 36.

Stick with the number in the door and you'll get the best even tire wear possible on the tread pattern.

Unless you have non factory sized wheels/tires, considerable suspension/steering changes, and the car was never painted or repaired in that door area (often deleted that sticker)..

The car has the typical Eibach/KYB set up, and 225 60 is one size larger than stock, but what I suspect most guys run on factory wheels.
30# just looked too low so now they are at 34 and I'll keep an eye on them, although I very seldom drive the damn thing.

Can hardly believe it suggests as low as 30psi. Its better to have a tad more than less in general. On my cars tag it says 2.3bar which is 33.4psi, I have been running with 35psi for a harsher ride/better fuel economy for years. You cant do any harm even if you run ~40psi.
Some of my wheel combo is the same tire size as you have on stock gtz wheels.

I always run 35. Hell, the Cruze is actually recommended at 45, and the truck runs 60. haha

If I did that in my GT, I would've had plenty of wear on the sidewalls.

I made the best experience running 30psi for best handling and grip with my Eagle F1 tires on dry/wet pavement. When i pumped them up to 32psi i could already tell a difference and lost some grip, especially when wet.
