While driving high speeds (highways) my car seems to have some kind of hiccup (like as if skipped a beat) and it does it like every couple seconds?

How old is your fuel pump or fuel filter? I've had dying fuel pumps act like that but they didn't last much longer after exhibiting symptoms like that. A clogged fuel filter will also cause this, but it's mostly evident under heavy load.

Everything about the egr is brand new, and just recently fixed an injector problem?

Fuel pump probably has never been changed.. I do remember changing the fuel filter about 4 years ago lol

I am betting on a sticking/clogged injector or a spark problem -check all plug wires, ICM-to-crank sensor line, swap out the coils if you have known-good spares. Also try pulling the spark-plugs and reading them to see if you can pin it down, but basically it sounds like one of your cylinders is misfiring. Corrosion or wire-damage on one of the injector control wires to the PCM could do this too, especially since it is so intermittent.

Some conditions at cruise are more strenuous than at idle which will point out or generate a skip easier.
