Beretta acting dumb

Post by blackberetta95 »

I have a 1995 chevy beretta base model but with the 3.1 v6. This morning I was driving it and after about 10 miles of riding in it when I had let off the gas it started jerking like it was trying to gear down while coasting. It only does this when I let off the gas to coast or tap the brake.... Any suggestions?

could be signs of torque converter failure, or valve body issues... either way depending on mileage you may need to have the trans looked at/serviced. The symptoms you described are very vague so it's hard to really pinpoint what could be causing the problem.

Not typical of a 4t60e to have tcc solenoid issues like the 3 speed.
