Came up today and the idle is "alittle" high. (about 1100 RPM)

Just swap out the IAC or ???

It could be just "lazy" because it does come down if it sits at idle for a bit.

Thanx Folks

When I've had problems with a high idle it's the TPS. Did you check the IAC port for gunk?

Ya I'm thinking a good shot of carb cleaner might clean it out.

But I live in a Condo now so working on it is an issue.

I swear, if I even open the hood, someone is calling the Property Management.

It's going to sleep very soon for the winter so I may just leave it for the spring.

It's not a huge issue, just another PITA at the moment.

Thanx

Carb cleaner is a good start. Really you need to take the IAC valve out and spray some Q-tips(with carb cleaner) and get the port real clean.
If that doesn't do it then slap a new TPS sensor on. Which I guess you could try first because it takes very little time. You could even do that at the parts store in their parking lot. I think the screws are T25 Torqx, I can check that on my car if you need me to. LOL that may be the IAC screws and the TPS is T20. They are the same size as the headlight adjuster screws.

Well it lives right now in what is likely the most secure underground "vault" on the ruddy planet, but I can't work on it!

Have to see if I can buy Rodney a couple beer!

Good to hear that it has a great home! I was having thoughts of it sitting out like my poor car.
