3.1 engine ignition(?) problem
Re: 3.1 engine ignition(?) problem
Correct -the only V-6 Berettas to have a MAF (stock, at least ) were the '96 3100s, which DID have both MAP and MAF sensors, and the '87/'88 2.8MPFI cars, but those had a factory service update (assuming the owner ever got the car in for the recall) to convert to speed-density (MAP), and use the MAF only for its' IAT function. Unfortunately, that MAF was still a restriction and source of power-loss. But either way, it wasn't used on the 3.1 engines... I scanned around a little on this thread, and didn't see the year of the car in question though, but I am pretty sure he has an older 3.1 MPFI car...ifixalot wrote: I don't think your car has a MAP and MAF?

Hehe yeah my beretta is a 91
And about mpg, i already noticed how much better mpg i get just repaired my tripmeter in my cluster so i can see how much this improved my mpg.
Im going to connect my laptop to the ecm and check the o2 voltage and all. Have to reset the needles on the tach anyways.
