ok guys here is my problem i have rebuilt my 2.8 v-6 back to stock at first it wouldnt run it would roll over but not start so i rebuilt it its a 1989 2.8 v-6 beretta gt with auto tranny ok now i got it to where it will start and run for about 30 sec. and then die i did a code check and it said the map sensor was bad i replaced it as well as the ecu and fuel pressur regulator i also replaced the eletronic timing sensor as well as the fuel pump and fuel filter also i relocated the coil pack from in front of the engine to th driver side fender witch i did away with the curse control diaphram was riped on it  i also did away with the ac to gain more horsepower i hardly ever used it as well it had a pin hole in the high side line........but anyway after replacing all this the car still wont idle right it runs for 30 sec.and then dies and now i am lost and dont know what else to replace i mean what else is there the injectors?...........any sugestions or advise will be greatful..................thanks

Make sure your wiring for everything is nice & connected in the right direction.  Then start running pressure tests on the fuel rail, each cylinder bank, vacuum.

Sounds like you may have a huge vacuum leak somewhere.  Is the brake booster line hooked up correctly?

Since you have screwed with the wiring I'll mention one more thing.  There may be two white wires going to the ignition module.  If you got those two wires backwards it might do this.  One is probably the tach wire and one is probably the ECM ignition timing signal.  If the ignition module does not sense the ECM it should keep running, but if the ECM send a signal on one wire for the IM to listen for the timing signal on another wire and it isn't there, it might die.  I'd have to have an 89 book to verify these wires.

I would also strongly consider getting the ignition module checked at a parts store.

ok i checked the white wires and they are in their right spots so i boarrowed a scanner from a friend and hooked it up to my ecu did ascan on it and it said that i have 1 or more worn injectors ok now i was thinking instead of replacing one why not all 6 so i got on line and started my search i found 6 accel fuel injectors for $195.69 now i know this isnt bad seeing how they want $55.00 each at a auto parts store but my question now is what is the lbs./hr. on stock these are rated at 15lbs./hr.

They are probably close to that.  At one time I used to know, but I'm getting old and forgetful.

I think they are 19lbs/hr, the last I recall .

the 3100 is 17 and the 3.1 is 16 so I would say 15 is probably right.

Depends on what PSI they are rated......     Don't compare Ford to GM, etc...
