Cluster all over the place after swap

Post by Conscious »

I did a swap, from an '88 gauge to a '91-'92 cluster. The cluster 'works' but all the readings just go out of wack when I turn on ign, drive or turn lights on. Is this a ground issue? I used the how to posted on the bstuff  site. Help pls!?

I don't know how you shoved a newer style cluster in an older style dash.
Could you take a picture of this setup you are trying?
Maybe you have a four cylinders cluster in place of a V6 setup (or the other way around?  You didnt tell us if you have a I4 or 60*v6 ) ??

No no, dash swap and I used the instructions from the bstuff website. It seems to be a ground issue or something all the gauges move haywire?
