Ignition key switch

Post by alexbtango15 »

Can anybody tell me how to change an ignition key switch on a 95 without tilt steering?

I changed one in a 91 w/ tilt once.

It was years ago, but from what I remember, I had to remove the airbag, the steering wheel, the locking plate behind the steering wheel. Then you could get access to the ignition cylinder. I don't remember much else than that; I don't remember if you have to drop the column or not.

This may sound wierd but, I've found that the steering wheel is actually at the perfect angle for me. I really don't need tilt steering.
