3400 light weight starter ?

Hello,
Will a light weight starter form a 3400 fit my 91 3.1 ?If it can do you know the part number for the starter ?

Yes the starter will fit, it's recommended over the older, larger style.

part number, very very expensive if buying new, look at the J/K for a 3400 starter, you will find one pretty cheap there. New price is 400+ at store, j/y is about $50....go to www.car-parts.com and look for a starter for like a 2001 grand am with 3.4.
