3.6l engine swap.

Postby Cyncere » Sat Mar 12, 2016 11:54 am

So I've got a Beretta...completely stock minus the 19s that I put on it. I'm trying 2 on the low end reach 300hp & mayb 250tq. To me that's very attainable. The '12 impala has a 3.6l rated @ 302hp & I think 250 or so for tq. Thoughts on that? Btw the retta is a 92 gt automatic.

It would be cool to see it done. Those are direct injected aren't they? That will be an interesting obstacle to get around. Don't know if the bellhousing matches the typical 60*v6.

How much is the budget, time frame to be done by, tools/space to conduct the work? It'll be a bit of work, but likely just as complicated as a turbocharged 3400/3500.
