Did you try and turn the wheels "lock to lock" yet? It looks like you're going to have to cut out a good amount of the fender to get the wheels to turn.

C5 front wheel are 17x8.5 with 56mm offset.  Same as the F-car.  C5 rears are 18x9.5 with 63mm offset.  I could go with the 18s up front with the wilder offset but with the wheel being one inch wider I would not gain anything.

For weight and asthetics I'll probably stick with 17x8.5 56mm in a Corvette wheel on all four corners.  Running a 235 or 245mm(stock) width instead of the oversized 275/40 that these 17s have in the picture above, will shrink overall diameter an inch or slightly more.  Giving plenty of wheel turning room on the fronts and 3 lbs. weight reduction over the 18s in the rear.

For the wheel sticking out of the fender...I was thinking since the Beretta lacked chrome from that era...chrome fender extenders would make the coverage.

Just split the car and add 4" of sheet metal down the middle of the entire car... custom windshield, custom rear window... simple right?! ÂÂÂ

The smaller tire size will definately help the width.  And hell, maybe maybe run some sort of fender flares as well as potential ground effects just to spread the body over its newly found track width a bit more.

I'm loving every update of this Norm.  I'm still amazed at how quick you're working.  Keep it up Norm.  And I was totally feeling you on the chrome trim as well.

hehe that we do.  IN fact I am going with Nordic, stage 3/4 since I will have a new intercooler.  Take your Aero add a few more hp and take off 300lbs and you have the sensation :P
