If you are talking about a 3800, yeah, but there will be PLENTY of work involved.

Yeah it is possible, there have been a few people to do 3.8/3800 swaps now.  I have seen one in person, a car with an old 3800 series I in it back at BFest '01 he called 'Lemon Juice'.  That was the first one I know of, but there's been a few to follow now.

It is a lot of work though, as anyone here will tell you.  You can stuff just about anything into any car if you're willing to drop enough money and do enough fabbing.  It's just a matter of how much you're willing to do/spend.

If you go through with this, go for a 3800 Super charged. SeriesII would be the cheapest route, 240 horse stock. You can mod them to make over 300 if you know what your'e doing. Good luck with traction!

An yes it's cold. I'm   about it. I can't test for water leaks when the water freezes, and I want my interior back in!!!

Issac needs spiked track shoes to dry yours this time of year.

If you need a computer to run a 3.8 I have got a deal for you on a fully programmable one!

Pretty sure the Beretta is like 103.4 inches or in that ballpark.

ok i kno this is an old thread but o well. i was thinking, if the wheelbases and width and everything was even close than i could notch the beretta body to fit on the frame so u have a full frame beretta that can accept a V-8 rather easily compared to trying to put it in a base beretta. what do u think?

I would think that camming the 3.8 for higher RPM horsepower would be a good solution for controlling traction issues.

maybe there should be a FAQ so people can consolidate this info.

Just keep the 3800 attached to an auto, then put in a higher stall in the trans.
