1988GTU...
You are absolutely safe to clock it...you are limited by orientation...It is dependent on how you want to mount the compressor H relative to the turbine H...like IGB stated the CHRA in totally independent...worse case scenario is what berettaspeed did...fab a bracket...I was only stating the obvious, it is a pain in the ***tek

Very responsive units...

EFor ref, this is what I am working with for the time being:

now THAT is one small turbo.  i've directly compared my TGP T25 to the Mitsu TE04H and it's no comparison.  i'm guessing you pulled that off a Chrysler 2.5L Turbo-I?  i wouldn't bother using that on a 60* V6.  not only is it way too small, but the wastegate puck is tiny.  expect some serious boost creep.  you'd be better off using a Garrett T3 from a Chysler 2.2L Turbo-II.

still, turbochargers used on 80s/90s Chryslers have a Chyrsler specific T3 flange (with the exception of those used on the Spirit R/T and Daytona IROC R/Ts).  a Garrett T3 from a Ford 2.3L would probably be better to start with.

just use the turbo and get it to work. then upgrade later if you want like you said. any turbo is better than no turbo. plus sice you made everything your self you will just have to remake some parts, but it should not be a big deal.

i hooked up my wideband today and yeah not good. i may have serious probelms.

at idle im @ 10.5 and less
and i hit 19.1  LOL at one time   NOT GOOD

At idle you are so rich because you have 22# injectors in there and the computer cannot adjust enough for it.  Just get a chip and a map sensor
