Never had any symptoms like this and I've been running a fender dropped intake since around 04. Condensation or cool air entering the engine through the intake tract which is also blocked by the TB plate, will not affect the bottom end in any way to produce condensation in the oil. The intake tract has no connection to that in the least.

Also Ironically enough the actual spot that a stock intake box will pull air in from is right behind the headlight and NOT in the engine bay so really you’re not changing the spot you’re getting air with a CAI your just putting a less restrictive system in place, a WAI your changing where you’re getting air all together.

Well, I didn't have any other answer. So call me crazy then. Either way I no longer have an issue so I doubt it matters much.

Fixing the headers I bought from Boner to fit the car... (they needed new flanges and the back header needs to be reangled to clear the firewall).

Once this is done, the rest of it gets put together and hopefully cranked (also hopefully with no problems! This IS my first time putting an engine back together by myself, I just hope I didn't gently caress anything up...).
