Emy drain tube is still aproblem i hope it doesnt crap out on me. but its -8 and the in is -6.
 its not goin to the track anytime soon. i hate myself im too slow
You should really use something larger for the return.  You really need a minimum 1/2" to 5/8'" inner diameter for proper drainage.  If the return is too small you will push out the oil seals inside that turbo. Then it will smoke like a train and you are going to need an expensive rebuild.  An inline oil filter  for the feed line is also a really good idea.  If you tee into the line for the oil pressure sending unit, you may be sending unfiltered oil to the turbo. That's a big no-no. The clearance between the shaft and the bearings inside there is about .001" and the shaft spins between 90,000 and 120,000 rpm.  Any contamination or small metal particles that get in there will chew it right up.  I know this from personal experience. I destroyed a very expensive, brand new turbo this way.  Take my advice and learn from my mistakes on this one.
And be patient. Nothing good ever comes from being in a hurry when you are doing something like this.  I spent 2 1/2 years putting my car together and it's still not "done."  Relax it will happen.

mmm an inline oil filter... where could i find on of these?? i never heard of this before.
i noticed too the inside diameter of the -8 is 3/8 and the ID of the -6 is 1/4 LOL. so i dirilled out the -8. its not 1/2 in but a 64th under it LOL. oh well.i made my own return line flange. a -10 was too big of a nut for me to fit inbetween my housings. so i didn't order one.  are stock turbos 1/2" drain??
i guess ill add some pics.

I did some looking and found that duh100% of the oil goes through the oil pump. but 100% of the oil dosen't go through the oil filter. when the filter gets backed up a bypass valve opens.  all the oil under pressure is the same. if i put an inline filter what happens when that gets backed up?? ill lose pressure. bye bye turbo.
im going to put a bigger oil filter on my car to help it out a bit. but there is nothing i can do other than that. where does the unfilter oil go, with the filtered oil??? or does it go back into the pan.

The bypass on the oil fitting on the block or oil cooler is if the filter is too small to filter the oil at high rpms when its cold, and/or too thick, and/ or/ filter getting cloged (old filter) due to neglectant owners.
Thing is...debree that was onece filtered by a $5 part is now letting crap through that will damage a $500+ part. Thanks GM.
Most hi/po mods include pluggin the bypass oil valve.
I see it comming along good. Keep putting teflon everywhere you can. ....things will start leaking if you don't.

well so much for next day injector holder. oh well i had to rig some up myself on a manual lathe. this is like 5 min ago. im still working on it but im just takeing a little break. not too shabby.

Two Q? If you have mentioned it in the thread forgive me, are you going to have 100% control over them? and I assume your IAT is behind the injectors?

IAT is just hanging in the engine bay LOL i dunno yet i may just leave it there. i have never had it hooked up to my intake during the whole engine swap.

Just curious...IAT, fuel, timing and boost are related...at least in my mind...especially to build a nice boost, fuel and timing curve...

i can't do anything about my timing.. i may just leave it. it will think its getting hot air. i have not had any problems at all?? i dunno maybe ill tap it in if i do have problems. LOL

well, your defeating the injector spray pattern and causing fuel puddling when you spray it in like that. The proper way to do it is to spray into the pipe at an angle so the fuel has a better chance of vaporizing.

Yes and No...Spraying at an angle towards intake, 'straight' down or reversed does not have any siginificant effect...or better yet measurable effect especially at the power potential (boost been ran @). As long as compressed air/heat is in the up pipe...By this design, fuels characteristics WILL 'flash'/ vaporize and expand...it is inherent!! Turbulence from the compressor 'aids' in proper dispersion of AFR...now whether or not it is ideal to dump a rich AFR into the airstream behind the intake valves (in a dry manifold) is ideal?...is another question
IMO as long as the injectors aren't faulty (leaky) their relative positioning is truly not going to create puddling...

your error in this is that N20 is a gas at room temp and pressure where as fuel is not. Fuel injectors have different spray patterns but many will have about a 1inch diameter spray pattern at 6-9". Im just going off what we see in the injector cleaning machine and in the turbo celica I helped with. We ended up angling it right into the TB.
