Most everything for the Quad has to be custom. I'll give you a run down of my build plans for my Quad, I have most everything listed, just have to get around to building the damn thing:

-Ported 086 head (90-92 year head with the biggest free flowing exhaust ports. You can gasket match the intake and exhaust sides and clean up the inside of the head real nice, easy to do that.
-W41 cams (hard to come by, but a factory/OEM guarenteed 10hp w/ correct chip, with a W41 chip or a Memcal burn by someone such as Racin17 on Quad4 forums).
-11:1 Wiseco Pistons (a set runs about $600, gonna see about getting them .020 or .030 over).
-Eagle rods (can be had for less than $300, lighter and stronger than original rods)
-TRS 4-1 header (no longer made, but there's a guy on Q4 forums that makes them for our cars, about $500 and you have a guarenteed 20 extra whp, dyno proven).
-2.5" mandrel bent full exhaust (a MUST especially if you're doing a header, also dyno proven to be the best exhaust setup for Q4 cars).
-Custom made intake (I'm going to attempt to use a UBI plastic intake kit to fab up my own design, should be good for about 5whp).
-Extrude honed intake (Expensive, but another 5whp mod at least. Send your old intake manifold off to Extrude hone and for about $545 they'll port the hell out of it to get the entire inside smooth for optimal airflow).
-MRZ Performance billet TB 62mm (About $300, you send your old one in as a core and you get a nice shiney CNC made TB. Also should net about 5whp or so. )

Start adding these up and you go from a 140-150whp car to 200whp easy. I haven't even mentioned the trans upgrades you can do either. Get you a 92+ Quad 4 trans and you have better gearing as well. Also throw in an LSD from EP performance.

My quad trans is a custom built 4DFF trans out of a Europeon Oldsmobile Silhouette. It has a lower 1st and 2nd as well as the 3.94 FDR. I had Jeff throw in the gas saving .72 5th gear to top it off.

This is all assuming that you're gonna just go N/A ; )... there's always nitrous or F/I, but those can get extensive and expensive (turbo or supercharger that is...).

You do not want 3.94 in V6.

Exactly u don't want that ratio in a v6 just because the v6 already gas a s*** load of low end torque where a quad 4 has to get over 3,000 just to have that torque but keeps pulling hard where the v6 just falls off for torque in the upper end
