EDusty,  To do the install you need the following from a 1996 Beretta or Corsica.
PCM
harness
injector harness
3 prong temp sensor
OBDII knock sensor
96 Tach Cluster (might be a work around for this)
For accessories you will want
96 ABS computer
96 ABS pump
cruise control(94's use older vacuum style)
Things that we turned off and did not use.
rear heated O2
EGR
purge solenoid
That is a little more than I had figured upon.  If provoked I may have to do it and will need your help locating parts but that wouldnt be until this upcoming April.  I was hoping it was simpler than that and that others could do it quite simply as thats what Im trying to use in this project are easily installable items.  Thank you for the information though.
Its a bit easier than on a W body for example.  On those you have to do a lot of splicing and rewire.   The ABS thing is the only part we have not complete.  Mine is not plugged in until I do my brake upgrades which is going to be another post.
I forgot some things.
You also want glove box, and PCM holder and air duct from a 1996 Beretta or Corsica. The 1996 glove box has a larger cutout in rear to fit around the larger PCM.

EYou considering a 3X00 car again Rex?
Probably not. I do like the idea of these larger displacement motors that would fit easily. That's why the 3800 is not a consideration for me. It's a really neat motor, but not realistic in a Beretta for maintainence reasons.
If I made another one, yes I'd do a V-6 due to the current availability of motors.

alright, quick question that i think I already know the answer too but want to make sure:
You dont have to be using a laptop do you?
You can just bring a desktop next to the car right?
Because it just loads the computers ram and isnt continuously hooked up to it.
Just wondering, because I dont own a laptop but am interested in the DHP powertuner in the next year or so if they are still selling it.

A laptop is not necessarily required...however it can become a necessity the more you get into tuning...
The desktop will work fine...keep in mind though, if you have to make changes on the fly...then what?

yeah,thats what I figured.
well, i'll probably buy a laptop before i purchase the tuner anyway, if i do ever get enough money together for it.
One last question.
So, does DHP plan on continueing to sell the tuner for this application, like will I still be able to get one say a year from now or so?
thanks

Unfortunately the market is fickle... more than likely looking at the bright side, the development of V6 packages will continue...

This tool looks really awsome and very just wow. But I am not ready for it. But from the look of it and the features it has it is really good.

Aparently there is interest in this around still.
Let me repeat something.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPLACE/SWAP INTERIOR DASH HARNESS
My 1995's Base harness was swapped to a 1996 Z26 harness for 3 things
DRL"s and OEM Foglight Relay, and Cruise Control Module. Nothing to do with OBDII swap.

im planning on swaping a 3400 into my 90 gt, is the pcm swap the same on those models too, or is it even possible?
DHP Powertuner for 96 Beretta V6
It is NOT the same, and its not impossible. There will be some work involved. We are going to attempt this on a 1994 Cavalier

Erich, I am very interested in this mod and I have a couple of questions...
So you have the 3400, did you go with the 3400 injectors or the 3100? and how well is the tuner working for you? quarter mile times, dyno, etc.
I am also planning to get the milzy stage two top end set up, heads, cam, injectors, etc, and maybe later a turbo, can the DHP handle any kind of radical mods like that?
Thanks a lot for your help and sharing what you have learned from your use with this tuner.
