I should have asked, are you running colder plugs? I would recommend looking into going a step or two colder :-)
Nice looking springs ;-)

Yeah I'm only running 6 pounds of boost in we saw little to no knock so I went from the normal .060 gap to the .040 gap which is basically one step colder

I had Jon raise my shift points a good bit since I put in the stiffer springs and I drove it WOT a few times today but the very first time when I went on the highway and floored it One of my couplers blew off and wouldnt you know it it was the bolt style, Z26_T was right! So I'm going to switch back to all worm Drive

;). If you continue to have issues, you can spray the pipes/couplers with hair spray. Wait for it to get tacky then re-assemble.

Are your pipes flared on the ends? Make sure they are and that the t-clamps are nice and tight.

Only reason I say anything is because I've had zero issues with blown couplers on my Legacy, and I'm pushing a lot more PSI than either of you (see sig). All my pipes are flared (most are bead-flared, there is one connection where I had to cut the pipe for ease of battery install and had to do a bent-flare). I've been running the FMIC setup for over 2 years with no issues on the couplers or t-clamps.

Flared pipes FTW... :) My Perrin TMIC has a flared outlet unlike the cheaper ones and has yet to pop the stock TB hose with the rubber caps still on it, that all the other legacy owners have issues with. I hit 19psi on a regular basis...
