In the process of giving the Fiberglass hood a Beretta Frame. I have it on the Beretta Hinges and it shuts tight with the front.
This is the test fit pix.
If you see in the first pik the side looks like its up too far.
Anyone else do this to the Ram Air Hood?

Liquid nail? lol
I was going to use a tube of the high temp adhesive to keep rattle down and a few aluminum rivets.
After I get the frame attached I will smooth any holes from prior installs. The rivets I will only use a few but I think I will counter sink them.

What's that stuff that they use on Saturn body panels? That would work great.
Found some GM part number 12378566.

Oh crap, 83 bucks for that thing? That is crazy! Well, the tube price is kind of high, but it's from 3M so you know that it's good. Glad to help. Is the plan to get rid of the pins and have a hood that works like stock?

Re: 90 GTZ Q4 to 3400
Yes MP I already have the steel frame from the stock hood attached. Just a few screws in it now.
I bought the fiberglass filler yesterday to fill the holes from prior installs. Same guy I am getting the intake from, his girl is a fiberglass chix so ima see if she can assist in the attachment.
I spent the day yesterday taking the headlight assy. out so I can start working the intercooler in. Everything except the header stuff will be here in Monday. WOT-Tech was out of header studs so they made me wait . While I wait I am making new motor mounts. I think I will add a tq strut to the tranny this time.
Pix to come.

Man, it's good to know people. A girlfriend that does fiberglass? That could be very helpful, though a bit strange. I see, that is plan B. Was it a PITA to line the frame up? And you didn't say if your going to get rid of the pins and make it like stock. Sorry, I've been keeping Ben scratching his head on this intake. A torque strut up top on the core support?
