Probably a no, but would it be possible to bump the timing using an OBD1 tuner?

Yes. Timing is based off a table in the computer and is changeable.

You can also buy a external crank sensor. Their adjustable. Just like rotating a distributer

Awesome, thanks I wasn't really sure because I thought I heard that OBD1 was a bitch to tune, maybe it was OBD1.5 I was thinking about. Another question, is it possible to adjust the line pressure to the TH125c for firmer shifts?

bumping the timing in a 3.1 is going to just move up your usable power range....which is not good with the 3.1 low breathability if you can get more air into it then then fuel and timing will be your friend.
