Catalytic Converter Size

Ok my cats glowing a little on the red side as of late on my 94 z26, and i was woundering what size pipe to get to go into its place. Im gonna be cutting off the cat and that resenator and id like to know what size pipe to get to go in its place o and i have a 3100 v6 stock

Just take it to the nearest hole in the wall muffler shop and they will take care of the whole thing. Costs like 20 bucks and will save a few brain cells. My guess though would be 2.25 id pipe, but Im really not too sure about that.

i have a 91 with a 3.1 in it if you are going to cut the cat off just use a 2 1/8 inch pipe because your stock pipe is 2 inch and that will fit snug over it.
