There is no ugly when it comes to BerettaFest!

We are working hard as we speak to get the new Bfest page up on the site here, and to get registration open for the event. Look for these things within the coming weeks, and preferrably by the end of the month! As we get closer to that it will pan out how many we will have attending and etc.

Current itinerary can be found at the beginning of this thread, in both online and document versions!

Please remember folks that this is a thread PURELY for 2013 BFest Denver suggestions.

If you want to just discuss the generalities of BFest (who's coming, who's leaving when... getting there when), that is a discussion for the "General" section. Feel free to start up a thread (A SINGLE THREAD) there!

Personally this will be my one big trip of the year so a slightly steeper price for the hotel is not the end of world to me. Especially if it means less driving time to the picnic, drag strip... where ever were going. It seems like over the years more and more people are sharing rooms as well which is a great idea unless it means seeing Cackcrack.
The only other thing I hope for in a hotel every year is that there not too strict and willing to turn a blind eye to our shenanigans at the Cack shack in the back of their parking lot. Not something you want to come right out and ask a manager I know but its just something thats always been on my mind since we were treated like garbage at the Marriott hotel in Pittsburgh.

any news on the drag racing? just some info.. as of right now there is no Pueblo Motorsports drag strip...but!!! A proposal was accepted and negotiations are in the works for pueblo to re open... it is looking really good at this point. I know it is a small cruise to race there, but if all goes through I will be working at that track as an announcer. I have spoken to the possible new management and they are aware bfest will be in colorado this summer and is interested in working you in, if all fairs well... I am not sure where you guys wanted to race... but I figured i would share the info... they also have a road course i believe... My friends company will be running both portions...

Thanks for the info Jene!

We will definitely be looking into options, so I would expect Ryan or myself to contact them soon. Is there contact info for the new management available?

You know this is the first one that has been close to me to where I feel that driving wouldn't be that bad. Have a wedding to go to around then but this may be an option this year. Been a while since I've been on the boards guess I should pay more attention.

According to the magical interwebs, PMI will be open for the 2013 racing season. The board won't let me link a URL, but if you google Pueblo MotorSports Park, they have a nice website with alot of new information.

When I hosted Bfest 04, that's the track we went to and they treated us right. Not only did they give a credit for 1/2 a day when we got rained out 1/2 way through our reserved time, but they rented us the track for less than 1/4 of what Bandimere wanted.

I'd totally give them a call and see if they can hook it up...after all, it wouldn't be BerettaFest without some drag racing IMO ;)
