another turbo question!
Re: another turbo question!
Depends if you want to use a blow off valve or a re-circulation valve. So if you want the noise or not. If you want the noise, put the MAF about six inches before the throttle body. If you don't want the noise, use a re-circulation valve and put the MAF before the turbo air inlet.

Re: another turbo question!
There are a few more requirements... for a blow through MAF the BOV has to be far enough away from the sensor so any air that is escaping from the BOV wont polute the MAF reading, this is more of an issue with centrifigul SC cars since they are constantly flowing excess air even at idle and can cause a swirling of air in the intake and screw with the readings.
And a suck through setup with the MAF you need to have the Recirculation valve dump the excess air BEHIND the MAF sensor just before the turbo so it's not re-metered... and the same thing applies, you need ot have enough space between the recirc dump and the MAF sensor so you don't get polluted readings from the MAF.

Re: another turbo question!
Or you can piss on the MAF and run speed density.

Re: another turbo question!
Yes it's OBDII already hence why I said removing the maf and going to speed density is stupid since he already upgraded away from that setup.
Re: another turbo question!
i have my BOV all the up in the in the front bumper area so i its a good ways away from where the mass airflow sensor would go in the engine bay.
Re: another turbo question!
That should be fine then. My MAF is around 6" away while my BoV is in the fender 18 or so inches from that. In my build thread you can see the engine compartment pretty well with regards to MAF location.

I bought something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-UNIVERSAL-T ... 30&vxp=mtrTylerlp wrote:ok ill get it figured out...where did you get your i/c piping at?
Then I cut the pipes to size. I bought a bunch of other couplers from ebay and amazon
