Strut Hardware
Anyone seen a complete strut assembly being sold these days? With spring, Dust boot, Strut Mount, Bearing, etc?
Just looking for the cheap stuff?
thanks

Re: Strut Hardware
Monroe used to make an "Econo-matic" series that was completely assembled, with a spring and boot, but not the bearing assembly.
However I don't see them listed anywhere any longer.

Re: Strut Hardware
Monroe has everything with their Sensa-crap. That shock/strut combo is junk! The rebound is so slow that if you have two pot holes in a row it feels like the tire is in the air on the second hole. I guess part of that could have been my stiff Moog springs.Asylum wrote:Monroe used to make an "Econo-matic" series that was completely assembled, with a spring and boot, but not the bearing assembly.

As a side note I have them on the front of my 95 with stock springs. I have the "blue" shocks in the rear and that seems to be a good combo.
keep'em flying!
