Ha, yeah, okay. I don't know why I was thinking it said "2.8 MULTI-PORT FUEL INJECTION"...
88 GTU, you beat me to it. I went out to my GTU to double-check that the rear bumper decal was one-piece clear printed while the side "GTU" section was die-cut, and ended up driving around for a while before coming back to the computer... But yes, what he said.

Has anyone ever ordered decals from Stencils & Stripes? They have the Indy Beretta decals mistakenly listed under 1980 instead of 1990.

I've called them they do not have those stickers... Hell he couldn't verify that he had anything teal kits or yellow... No idea why he even has it listed.

88_GTU wrote:Red on red is correct for the GTU decals. The red of the decal is "tomato red" or something weird. It's not the same red as the exterior paint color. I went back and looked at my GTZ decals and yeah, the second set they did are a bit funky, especially the "T". Sorry guys, the first set was much better.

Also, Jon and Eric, I sent you both a stock rear decal but Jon you got a copy of the side decal for size reference while I did send Eric my last OEM side. If you want to do these as they came stock then the entire rear decal is printed on one piece of clear vinyl but the OEM sides had the GTU part diecut in silver vinyl while the lower 2.8....... was printed on clear vinyl.

J
Thats really weird on the side decal. So the die cut part is not backed with anything? And the 2.8 lettering is just cut around the border of that lettering?

I can't get the masking off the larger GTU and since Eric did some Vector stuff with the ones you sent him I'll just let him finish what he started... No reason to both be working on it.

Eric if you can get me vector's for both the sizes then I can get them made... I got an email reply yesterday from Camaro Signs and I may be calling him today to see if I can set something up and get a run of the GTU stuff.

Also if you have the GTZ stuff I can get those made as well.

Send me artwork in actual size to my email and I can take care of it.

Ok, someone will need to measure the GTZ decal to get the size right, but the GTU ones I have right here and can scale them accordingly. PDF should work, but I can send an EPS as well.

Going to Camaro Signs today, Should have some details on the GTU decals, and the Z26 ones... I'll also get a price on the GTZ ones but I still need a good measurement on them to have it scaled right.

I have one OEM z26 door decal so I will post up the dimensions you need to know for placement of the decal itself. It has the measurements on the tape.

Ok

From bottom of molding to top of decal is 1 1/2" and the corner of the top point of the Z is 4 7/8" from the door edge for the LH door placement.

RH door placement it is 3 7/8 from the top point of the 6 to the door edge.

Picture for reference, you can see the tick marks I made for measuring.

How far is the bottom of the molding from the body line? My car and many others no longer have moldings.

I don't know... My car doesn't have it either.

I'll measure the black Z when I get home.
