Shorter Antenna?

Post by DOHC_tuner »

I've searched and there isnt much info on it around here. It has been said the Beretta comes with a long one and short one.

Well i need a short one so i can use my car cover. And im sure it would look good too.

I dont really like those mast produced ebay ones.

Why not just take the stock one off and put the cover on? Pull the cover off, and put it back on...

Okay here is my story.

I park under a tree in my driveway. (I refuse to park my Beretta in the street). And the birds hate my Beretta. So they drop nukes everynight. In the morning when im getting in my car for work the Beretta is "COVERED" in bird nuke.

I would just scrape it off but that got old....plus it became pointless to ever wash the Beretta if i stuck too that. Then i received a $20.00 credit at autzone so i bought a cover and here i am.

An avenue im looking at approaching is trimming the tree (not cutting it down)....and hope that would aid in solving my issue. Maybe come tax time i might look into a car port. Doubt that would happen but we shall see.

some car covers actually have a small opening for the antennae as well. you might try getting a large bottle of hot sauce or maybe alkaselsor? mix it in with some bird seed, birds love that crap
