Part out - 89 GT

Post by heavywoody »

I'm parting out an 89 GT, 2.8 automatic, analog dash. Car has 275K on it but has a TON of new parts on it (mainly engine/ignition/fuel/emissions/sensor related).

All items are best offer; I really don't have time to sit here and price out each piece that's on the car. I'll give prices for a couple things but that's about it.

I can bring items to BFest next year if you want. I can drive to meet for a fee (or if I happen to be traveling someplace near where we can meet - we can work it out). Shipping will be at buyers expense. If using Paypal, either include the 3% fee or pay as a gift/friend so I'm not eating the fee.

Some items are already spoken for/sold, this is what has already been sold.

SOLD:
Dash
Inner/outer dew strips
Window trim on doors
Tail lights
B-pillar metal trim plates
Alternator
Wheels
Grey side skirts and rear trim off the bumper
Passenger fender
Carpet
Front sidemarker plug
Walker exhaust
Front Z04 bumper shown in picture is not available for purchase (sorry guys, I forgot to take that out of the picture beforehand!)
Door panels - very nice condition, map pockets may need attachment attention (I really don't want to ship these as they are bulky and I'm afraid of them being damaged in shipping) - SOLD to Robert 89GT
Door lock trim pieces - posts intact - SOLD to Robert 89GT

Available: every thing else

Rolling shell w/ factory sunroof and headliner (it is a rust free car) - if it needs it to roll, it stays on the car!

Fully rebuilt heads (new seals/springs/3 angle valve job/machine work), no miles, hardly any run time (maybe 1 hr total) - $200 OBO

List of new/almost new parts:
Fuel injectors
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel pump
Plugs/wires/wire tray holder thing on the side of the manifold
ICM
Coils
Crank position sensor
Radiator
Battery
EGR
Coolant temperature sensor
Other things I'm probably forgetting

Please be patient with me on shipping; I have limited time to take things apart and ship them out due to my demanding work schedule - most garage activity will be on Sundays. Smaller things I can get at night after work.

Any chance you'd have the piece that goes around the radio/climate controls? Also, how much for the door handle/lock bezels that you have pictured?

I can now. Shoot me an offer, or I can get pics then send them your way. I haven't ever taken the sunroof glass out, so I don't know the condition of it or the seal but I'm sure it's nice. I'll get pics either way.

Paul, I'll double check but I don't think I have that piece anymore.

Money pit, are you talking about the door seals, or the small strips that run from the top of the B-pillar to the corner of the back window?

WI_corsica, the ICM is available.

Jack, I'll get back to you on that switch. I haven't been out in that garage for a while now so I'll get that info tonight.

Update - The shell is available if anyone is looking for one. I do have a clean title in hand to give to the buyer. Selling cheap - scrap value ($250)

The one that is attached to the windshield piller and runs along the roof. It is above the door seal. I need both the driver and passenger side. That is if they are in good shape, mine have split near the roof.

Asking a bit much here: Rear bumper support
That would be a bitch to ship, but mine is rusted to half the size. If the impact absorbers are in good shape I could use them too(they connect the frame to the support).
Just a long shot and I understand if it's too much work.
