Based on the wheels I believe this is a GT, good price too.

Steel wheels do not a GT make.

'92 3500 GT gone and not really missed. It was fun. Documented 13.47 N/A.

I thought those were the early GT wheels, since the base models had four spokes steelies instead of the five spokes.
Didn't the Z51 suspension models use these exact wheels? Maybe it's just a Z51 equipped base? Or maybe a low optioned GT?

Could be.. But shouldn't it still have a spoiler as a GT but then again it could've been removed.... Hmmm

A GT would have a spoiler, crosslaced wheels and body colored mirrors.
But at this point it likely wouldn't affect the price much.

Still not a bad deal at least. Looks decent on the outside, judging by the photos.

My 88GT Beretta came with 14" rally wheels, no spoiler, no Z51 option, FE3 suspension, and power everything( inc. trunk release).

Those things didn't come into play until '91 along with the body color grille.Asylum wrote:A GT would have a spoiler, crosslaced wheels and body colored mirrors.

88 GTs would have 14" wheels standard, the 15" dark argent steel wheels with stainless center cap and trim ring were in fact a part of the Z51 package. in '89 and '90 the GT was standard with the same wheel as the Z51, just in light argent; crosslace wheels were optional. No spoiler was on the GT until 90, but a luggage rack was optional on the older years. 1990 was also the only year the GT was available with 2-tone paint.
