I did mine in red a couple of years ago.  It turned out pretty good, although it sucks to see during the daylight..lol Anyways I scrubbed the orange paint off of the plastic and than used a red film (roomate had it from his light directing days in drama/theater class) but anyways it worked really good for me!

Quick question, may have already been answered as I didn't read the whole thread. Can I convert my analog guage pod in my '88 GT to Digital w/o too big a pain in the arse? Thanks. Looks good btw.

I think so, as far as I know its plug and play. I do think the connector needs to be moved though, there are two spots for it. and you need a oil pressure sender instead of the switch. you don't get all the features if you do the swap w/o the control panel.

The connector is different.  Digital has a "pin" connector.  The best way  is to swap out the dash harness with that of a digital car, but you can do it by splicing in the wires.

alright, update! Uh, I wired my LEDs in parallel... I cooked em all. I should have known better. you have to either wire them in series or install like three LEDs per socket, that'll divide the voltage from 12V each to 3V each, well withing the LEDs tolerances.
