Random Cavalier brake line question

Post by themixer »

Knowing full well this is a beretta group, I am hoping someone has access to this information. I never imagined it would be this hard to find.

Have a 2003 Cavalier without ABS, in the process of replacing the rear brake lines. As this car has had a number of lines changed, I would like to verify that they are all in the right order before bleeding the system.

Looking for a simple diagram showing where the brake pipes go into the master cylinder, IE the distribution order

like:

RR LR RF LF

I have tried just about every google query I can come up with, and searched the jbody site. Called the dealer, checked with parts, also searched GMs dealership service website.

Would appreciate any help with this!

The master has two lines that run to a distribution block on these cars, at least on my 2004. If I had the car here, I'd take a look for you, but it's at my buddy's place. I'll check to see if he can take a look.

I'm a member of J-body.org if you'd like me to make a post there (if you've not already).

Sorry it doesn't help. I can't really tell where each line is going I got the same parts diagram from the dealership. But thanks for trying, this is been challenging and I never thought it would be.

Do you have additional text that goes with this diagram?

It's what I could tell from a car out in the lot before leaving out for the day.

That is the best I could find as well.
