1990 GTZ speed sensor ???
If I'm remembering correctly, when i lasted moved my car with a cluster installed my speedo would say i'm doing 90 MPH at 2000 RPMs (give or take 500 to 1k RPMs). Would this be my speed sensor not liking the new cluster voltage readouts? If so can anyone point me in the right direction on what speed sensor part number i need for my car a 90 GTZ Quad4 H.O. 5 speed of course.
the one i'm seeing on autozone website is: 917-630
And where is this sucker located?? I'm guessing somewhere on the tranny??? but i'm not expert here.
Thanks!
Scott

Yes on the tranny, they are a real pain in the ass to get out when sitting for 25 years. Use a prybar and a hammer work the sensor in and out with lots of lube! Good luck

Shoot I might have to do this. I think mines 10 mph off.
92 GTZ 3.1/auto, no real mods other then a strut bar, I fight hard enough to get it road worthy!
