All good things come to an end

Post by ifixalot »

It's logical for me to sell the motorcycle I've owned for the past 30 years.
I'm getting older and they say the risk is of accident and injury is higher.
I only ride a couple hundred miles a year and I pay for license and insurance.
I got an offer that is really great. I'm getting about what I paid for the bike before tax, 30 years ago. ($3500)
It's sad to think this aspect of my life is over. I've owned motorcycles since I was 16 years old.
But I will get over it like I did when I sold my snowmobiles and standup Jetski but for now I'm a little sad about it.
I'm waiting for the buyer to show up, I'd kind of like to get this over with.

$3500 buys a lot of cheap beer to forget about motorcycles

Ok, now that it's over, I don't feel so bad. He found a small defect after riding it so we agreed to $250 off the price.
Still good for 30 year old bike.
The heck with the cheap stuff. Maybe I'll treat myself to some that Canadian beer people rave about.
