Quarter panels
Quarter panels
Ok, so dumb question.....couldn't find the answer in a search.....how difficult is it to remove the quarter panels in the Berettas? I want to start doing some body work over the winter but think it would be easier to do it piece by piece when they are removed than still on the car. Plus I don't really want to freeze my but off in the cold.....

Quarter panels
you cut them off so if you were to do bodywork on them it would all be ruined when you weld em back on.

Quarter panels
the quarter panel is removed in one piece all the way back by the taillight to about 6" into the door opening. I'll have to see if i have some pics of my car when it was getting replaced.

if you can get ahold of a dealer service manual it will show you the locations of all the pinch welds for the welded on panels. i had to replace the panel, for collision reasons so my car was a bit smashed. but when you put the panels back on you had better make sure that the panel is lined up the right way, otherwise it'll look like somthing is wrong with the trunk lid...
