My Berettas and Stuff :)

Post by GT_Indy »

This thread is my Berettas and stuff.

My 96 Beretta Z26 swap, has about 130,000 miles. It is my Daily Driver.
I bought this used over 10 years ago, it was my first car.
It was a base with a factory trunk spoiler, I had the Z26 body kit installed.
I kept the soft ride suspension as I like it better than the harsh ride of the Z26 suspension.
I also upgraded it to the European headlights, I acquired them from a Bnet member and they are made with aluminum, very strong and durable.
They have been changed to the trans am H7 capsules with H7 bulbs.

My 1990 Beretta GTZ! :)
I bought it used from a Bnet member and he also bought it used from a Bnet member, it is said to be one of the vehicles used at the Mesa AZ proving grounds facility years ago. it has 124,000 Miles. Looks to have been restored at least once. No flaws on this vehicle.
The only flaw is that I cannot find documentation to prove this vehicles history, all I have to go on is word of mouth.
I would be interested if anyone knows of any documentation to prove this vehicles history.
This vehicle does have aftermarket audio system, 20% window tint, and European headlights. The plan is to remove the tint in the future. I plan to keep the audio as I like the quality and Bluetooth however I have a factory radio for the vehicle.
I kept the factory headlights, the European headlights were purchased second had brand new years ago, I like the style.
I have European tails to match however I have not had time to install them.

My 1990 Beretta Indy :)
Only 17,365 Miles. It is an un-restored factory original 1990 Beretta Indy Pace car. There are no flaws on this car. It is a time capsule.
It has the Digital Dash, Sun roof, Sun Roof Leather Bag, and is the 3.1 v6 with automatic transmission.
I have the original tires from the factory on the original rims in storage, the vehicle has a second set of rims and tires on it at the moment so the originals stay nice. It has a factory replacement battery.
This is one of the 1500 Yellow Indy replicas produced, and I believe it is the lowest mileage of those 1500 at this time.

Those are awesome, way to keep some mint examples alive! Even the Z26 and GTZ are low miles considering the age. The Deville in the background looks pretty sweet too.

Thanks. :)
I like keeping them nice because its no fun driving in something that's run down or beat up. Gotta have style and turn heads!

Thats my 1987 Cadillac
It has an oldsmobile 455 under the hood with a cam.

Looks good under the hood too! Even with the lower compression I'm sure the 455 was a great upgrade, I thought some models/years of Cadillac's had 350's or something small for the weight of the car.

Those are so comfortable its like ridin' in your living room.

Its funny you mention mpg's, that's how I ended up with my Beretta. I was looking for something with better economy and somehow I ended up with it instead, lol
Whatever, our vintage tin is way-cool even if there's a little more gas involved.

Yah they had the olds 307, or chevy 305, Some had the HT4100 or the 4.1 v6, And I believe a diesel option existed.

I will never get used to how perfect the dash is on my white 90 GTZ. :)
That's the actual dash, no cap/cover.

It's perfect because it was completely redone by Just Dash's :) Not hard for them to look new when they are new! (and with better materials than stock)

Yah it probably won't ever warp like the factory ones do.
There is a small flaw in the color by the driver side speaker. But I cant complain because its near perfect.

The 5 spd is fun to drive. If you aren't careful the quad4 can easily spin the front wheels.
I get awesome gas mileage with this thing.

That dash looks great but the grilles on it do not seem to be properly attached

The defrost vents?
Yah both cars had those bent up a little by previous owners. I never got around to straightening them.

Man, I am in love! My Yellow Indy isn't bad for what I paid for it, but it is a driver -yours is a collector's piece, for certain. And your GTZ is gorgeous. '90 is my favorite year for Berettas (half of mine are that vintage  ). I still want a '90 GTZ -somehow I think that will round-out my collection- but I would almost be afraid of owning one as nice as yours. Glad you have them, and obviously appreciate them the way you do! :good:
