Lawsuit against Mantapart?

Post by rweatherford »

I got this off the Quadfourm tonight.

--------------------------------------------------------

Today I received a letter from the Ohio attorney general. They have initiated a lawsuit against
our favorite supplier that starts with an M. I received it because I had filed a complaint
against them in 2004, which was finally resolved in March 2005. I know a few people have
had problems with them, so I wanted to let you know what was going on, in case someone
was still having problems with them.
The contact info is below

Hopefully no one else will have to go through what some of us went through.

Mantapart could avoid this if they did their thing in a timely fashion... but obviously they have chosen to experience things the hard way.

Weba, are you planning on visiting Mantapart when you come over for BFest?

It's about time, that's good to hear.  I think the problem is that some people have had a good experience with Mantapart, so more people decide to risk it.

Back when I ordered my stuff, I waited for about 4 months I think before I got everything... some stuff was shipped separately from others. I think the Bilstiens were the last things I got...

I suppose it would be different if it was reversed and some people had problems while most didn't, but that's not the case. Maybe now with a lawsuit they will pick up their slack. Pity that they're the only place you can get bilsteins...

Might as well get on the bandwagon James, the more people the step forward the easier it will be for this whole lawsuit to put those crooks where they belong.

It took them a good 6 months just to get me an intake way back in like 2001.  Back when I was a fuel injection n00b.

It would be nice if there stuff gets seized and put up for auction.  They still have some nice q4 stuff that I would like to get my hands on.
