Beretta at open track

Post by Eddie »

I am posting this mostly because of the large lack of track related articles.

If you want to test your beretta at a track (and you live near michigan), then go out to an open track day at Waterford Hills Road Racing track.

http://waterfordhills.com/

It's a mile and a half, road course, with 13 turns . I am a volunteer turn marshal.

I took my car out for an open track, and one of the racers in a mazda got in front of me to show me the line. It was the funnest thing I've ever done with my beretta. You can go as fast as you can handle, and if you lose control, you go off into soft grass (no curbs, signs, people, or other real life hazards).

I am sure that there are other tracks around the earth that have these open track events, but take my word for it; There is no better, or funner, way to test your beretta, and your control of your beretta.

Heres the '07 flyer:

http://www.waterfordhills.com/otdflyer07.pdf

They probabily haven't worked out this summers dates yet.

The price is a little higher, but you can get an expirenced race car driver to show you the track, and tricks like when to brake, and stuff like that.

Something to checkout at least.

You guys will love the road course at B'Fest then.

It's 1.8 mile (3 KM) and appears to be a little tighter.

$35 for two hours of open track time.

You can check it out here.
