Break down night

Post by GTZryda »

Went to Cecil county drag way tonight and it was break down night. I was there for 2 hours and only got 1 run in. When ever some one broke it was in the last 1/8 mile and took forever to clean up. My clutch is on its last legs because it sliped on th 1-2 shift and the 2-3 shift bad. Good thing my new clutch is waiting in the garage. If you compare tonights slip with my 15.4 slip from november, i'll be hitting 15-15.2 if i had a clutch that can grab.

tonight

Just an intake and a strait pipe. I put my front tires at 23.5 psi, it seem to be the best for launching and doesn't hurt on the top end.

The quad in the car is not the original motor either. A 93 ho quad(753 head slightly more restrictive head) was droped in before i got it. So i'm getting good times with a 3.61 tranny and 93 ho quad This combo was never mated to aany factory quad car.

Went back last night and people were breaking down all night again.

I was there 3+ hours and got 2 runs in.

One shitty 16.4 @ 90 and 15.555 @ 92

This W41 chip really changes the power band, and with my messed up tack its like driving a new car. Its going past 8k and still moving, i still haven't hit the rev limiter.
