C6 tips

Post by JeffD »

I just got my C6 corvette tips in from California, I'm trying to decide how to place them, close together like a corvette, or original beretta placement, only with the exhaust on the right side as well.
give me your thoughts.

thanks for all your help lol!
I did the exhaust this weekend, dual exhaust. the inside of the pipes is right on the edge of the licence plate. it sounds awesome, I ended up making a complete 2-1/4" exhaust from the exhaust manifold back with a glasspack in place of the cat along with the  flowmaster in the muffler location. so much better than the turbo muffler!

IMHO they are either too close together to be believable as an OEM application, OR too far apart to be custom.

I'm a detail NUT and I wouldn't be happy with that.

And if you are going to spend all that, or any money, why on earth settle for 2 1/4" pipes?

But it's your car.

I had the pipe, it's larger than stock, I've seen the tips side by side before and didn't like it, all in all I spent around $100 on the entire thing. My thing is subtle appearance mods, not  really drawing too much attention.
I've gotten nothing but complements until now.

How many people have center under license plate exhaust exits on a beretta?  IIRC It's me and Mr. Mike right now... Others?

there is a guy nearby me who did it, I don't know if he's on here, but I didn't really like the way he did it.
