Good Muffler

Post by BerettaGT1993 »

I have a 1993 Beretta GT stock 3.1 V6, and want to replace the muffler, I am looking for a deeper sound that does not make crackling noises, I want it to be loud enough to hear, but not abnoxious. If you have ever heard a John Cooper works Mini Cooper run, that is the sound I am aiming for. What do you think?

go for a "turbo" muffler.  Dynomax is the most popular.

I'm very happy with my Magnaflow XL. However it is a bit raspy. I suspect a resonator would cure that...

keep your cat and put a flowmaster 40 on. that should keep the sound reasonable.

That is unless you want to your car to sound obnoxiously loud.  Then you can go with what I have
