i am not smart when it comes to cars. please somebody direct me to where the TCC
plug-in or switch is on a 1989 Beretta 2.0L 4-cyl. any help would be greatly
appreciated.

TCC location
There's a cover on the driver's side of the transmission that has to be removed to get to the TCC solenoid. Follow the wiring harness to the transmission to locate the cover to be removed.
If you're not comfortable doing this, its best left to someone who's familiar with the transmission. As best I remember, I hear its about 150$US to have someone do it for you.
