Just put a high flow unit in and then have the second O2 sensor put into the pipe after it.

Quote You can use any cat, but you need to have an oxygen sensor holder welded into the pipe after the cat. im getting ready to redo my exhaust, were there any oxygen sensors on the cats?? my car is an 89 equipped with a 2.8

Mid 95 is when OBDII was introduced. Before that, there was just 1 O2 sensor, in the manifold. I only have one O2 sensor... I also had no problem with getting a hi-flow cat, since I only have the one sensor.
Do what Rex said, there are places (Jegs, Summit) that sells O2 sensor weld in fittings...
