Re: My new Retta!
^^^ exact reason, money talks and i need a more fuel efficient car. the beretta is close, but not good enough. And ive lost the spark for the car, i don't love it as much as I did my old rettas. Unfortunately i think i've moved on.
Re: My new Retta!

Re: My new Retta!
your gtz should get great gas mileage, but mine was getting 17-18. thats NOT a big improvement over the trans am which gets on average 16. Lol, theres not really a point to it besides saving my t/a. Thats why im trying to find something else to fulfill my winter car requirements

Re: My new Retta!
If your car is getting only 17-18 you have a mechanical issue and it needs to be corrected... You can do that for much cheaper than attempting to sell a 15yr old car that has had the top end replaced, and then finding something else.
I was able to get 24-26 with my 95 3400 in the red car and that was with 3.33 gearing and a 2095 stall converter. To go along with Chad, you wont find much in the good mileage department unless it has little to no power, but if your accepting of that the go for it. My Legacy can get GREAT mileage too, as long as I never boost it...

Re: My new Retta!
Yeah my GTZ when i first got it and it was almost all stock, was getting around 23-24 in town and upwards of 30-32 highway. After the mods i was up about 24 city/39 highway
Now if your talking V6, my old 94 base was doing about 22 in town and 30 highway. Not much different between the quad and V6 stock for stock, but still. If your only about 17-18, i think your regulator might be shot or your foot is on the floor constantly. Im gonna stick with bad regulator, possibly even stuck open injector or bad map sensor.
