Looks like you did a great job.

Besides having Yellow Indy envy and that I would keep it stock, looks sick.

Looks pretty cool, not a fan of solid grills with indy fronts though, I think it would look better with a yellow eggcrate grill. Good lookin' work there though, I also like the mirrors.

That's from a 78-79 Z28, not a 77. :P

thanks for the replies guys. i know most people prefer to keep the indys all original. to me, the resale value isnt anywhere near good enough to not mod it to the way i want. so thats why ive changed so much.

woody...ive been told once before that it had to have come off a 78-79 like youre saying. so i guess the hood must have been swapped to that donor car. idk...maybe the owner didnt know the actual year. it was a rust bucket.

That's very possible, the Camaro hoods interchange 70-81. BTW a 78-81 looks like mine, and the 74-77s had big ugly aluminum bumpers like "bumblebee" in Transformers.

Don't forget Woody, it was 70 1/2. The 70 was a carry over model of the 69 with only a few made.
:)
There used to be a 1975 Z-28 near me. I swear that it had a scoop close to that. Not much of a car, the biggest thing was the stickers. The car was white with three color stickers side by side. Can't remember the order, but they where black, yellow and red. They where around the scoop.
I'd have to find my Camaro book for more info on this. That is if you want me to, not much of a car and not really worth talking about the poor thing. There was a gas crunch, so power was low.

The Camaros sold in early 70 were still sold as 69's though.

The mid-70s Z28s had a sticker similar to the shape of the scoop, but no scoop. 78-79 had stickers around the scoop and 80-81 had a sticker on the scoop.

Ah thanks Woody, it's been a long time and that car near me is gone. That's what it looked like! Looks like I should have checked my book before I opened my mouth. All this car stuff blends together over time. Sucks to get old.
