Now I pride myself in being a very geographically educated person, but... what's "New Hampshire"???

Everything sounds good. One question though
Did you look into the car club rates they have for Mt Washington? It looks like they have sunrise and sunset tours that are private for almost the same amount if it includes the BBQ in the price. It is not clear though on the site.

I’ve been on the phone with the event organizer at Mt. Washington already. For the private car club evening tour, they want a minimum of 30 individuals @ $23.00 per person or $690.00 total. That doesn’t include BBQ. If we do it as regular visitors with a planned BBQ, it gives everyone the biggest bang for their buck. Plus, if we do the BBQ all together, there is no waiting in lines at restaurants, getting served at all different times, and sitting miles apart. It becomes a true group lunch.
Right now, 19 people are showing interest in the event overall. And if you count Jon and I, 3 people have said they like the idea of the BBQ. If people are interested in this, they really need to speak up. Otherwise, the window for this opportunity is going to close. Even if we only get 18 people, Jon and I are will to throw in the extra $$ and call it 20 people so we don’t have to cancel the whole lunch.
The people doing the national event are changing proposal dates so they get a year to plan. I’ve got less than 2 months. This event has a lot of potential, but only if people are willing to show interest and speak up about things, especially when there is a specific request for feedback.

No need for thank you's...their website is tough to find the details on how much it would be! Like I said, I've been calling and emailing them quite a bit!
