Beretta.net Committee Nominations

Post by quad4berettagtz »

In keeping with our annual turnover of our elected committee members, we are going to be getting ready to bring in a new committee for the 2012 season!

Some quick backround:
Beretta.net's committee is comprised of 4 permanent members, and 3 that are elected annually. Each year we take nominations and vote on people from our general membership to fill those 3 open positions.

Permanent members:
-Mike Pride, Chariman
-Will Hathaway, Webmaster
-Amanda Pride, Treasurer
-Cliff Scott, BerettaFest Registrar

In 2011 our elected officials have been:
-Paul Keller
-Jon Chmura
-Carl Little

RULES FOR NOMINATING:
-Each nominee MUST NOMINATE THEMSELVES... Nominating others will NOT be accepted!
-Once nominated, the nominee MUST be publicly seconded by at least ONE other member.

It's just that easy!!

Nominations will run from now until 9pm CST Friday September 30th. All seconds MUST be recieved by that time or the nomination will not be accepted.

Following the nominations, voting will be held from Spetember 30th through 9pm CST Friday October 7th. VOTING THIS YEAR WILL BE HELD ON THE MESSAGE BOARD!

Good luck to all our nominees!

Well, I figure I should nominate myself, as I'm working to help plan the event at the proposed location, or do I fall into a different category and do not need to be nominated since I proposed it? lol

Meaning that being the proposal/planner, etc person would I have to be nominated for the committee, or it won't matter? That's all I was wondering! No worries here either way! Thanks!

I nominate myself for the following reasons.

While I haven't been able to make it to as many Berettafest events as I would have liked in the past, I've been a member and active for a long time. I have a degree in business management and administration, and I am the general manager of two locations of a worldwide financial company. I have wanted to have a more active role in the community (other than posting on the forum) for some time. I'm very well orginized and have a passion for seeing things done correctly. I feel that I could be a strong addition to the committee for the 2012 season, in whatever capacity would be required of me.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

You are defaulted if you are the one that proposed T.C.

Okay no answer, so I will second Chad (Chad91GTZ) here.
