Roberts 89GT Engine build.

Post by 3X00-Modified »

Well, Robert dropped off his car yesterday and I moved the cars around today and got all his parts out to see what I have or may need.

Pinky's gonna have a chat with the GT and teach her how to idle with a bit of lope...

I need to put all of this

Into here... And make it look good...

Maybe if I just leave it like this overnight all of those parts will just jump in the bay...

Sounds perfect, wow! i feel like im 12 again!
Jon has really help me in the past with tuning the car.
So when he said he would help with the build, i was happy.
Thank you again for doing this for me.
I've wanted this for awhile.

After driving the car once so far all I'm going to say is you will need stickier tires if you want 1st gear to do anything when I'm done. LOL Rolling in 1st and if you just nab the gas you can feel the tires break free already.

Maybe if they sit next to each other long enough your car will learn a proper transmission.

According to application 5-speed is useless in my car. I'd like to see you leave the line with the amount of power I'm making with the tires I have. ;)

You guys forget, I have the "proper" transmission in the "proper" vehicle... The AWD turbo... DUH!

Wouldn't fit either of them, you would need a 3400 lower intake first. :) It fits my 3500 stuff great, but leaves me with no spot for the nitrous fogger.

That's a long drive but yes I would. Sorry but it's way easier on tune if I know all the mechanical stuff is working.

206@.050 is all? What is the stock duration. That can't be too much of a step up.
