the "what do you do for a living" thread

Post by themadness »

i am a "stay at home dad" which basically means i dont work as to the definition of a "real job". i spend my days chasing a 4 year old, which doesnt pay much, but can be fun. naturally i dont get a paycheck so all my work to my car is done RIY(ruin it yourself) or i save what i make from flipping junk on craigslist.

how do you guys make bread to pay for your beretta fetish?

That sort of explains the threads you start. Boredom,eh?

I own an automotive repair shop. I also pick cars up cheap (partly because of my line of work) and fix them properly and flip them.

When I first heard this term I really didn't know what it meant. I thought it was literally flipping over cars. Like cow tipping.

I do graphic design for two different companies, while on the clock for only one of them! lol
I also do volunteer work with children and play with cars in my spare time. :)

Um...yeah, that's kinda how I am!! I'm usually only "home" for 5 mins at a time before leaving again. I don't even know why I refer to it as home anymore...heck I'm not even in my home state 99% of the time!

I am the Senior Supply Chain Team Specialist here at Red Robin. It's a really fancy way of saying department coordinator. I have worked for this company for the last 16 years, 14 of that in the restaurants and now almost two years here in the corporate office.
