Electric Supercharger .........

Post by beretta »

This is something i come across browsing online, kind of interesting. be amazed if it actually works. they say it will boost 5 psi.

http://www.superchargertuning.com/Chevrolet/Beretta/

What is included with this purchase?

900+ Watt Motor
Safely generates up to 5 PSI of boost
Laser Cut 10 Blade Turbine with Rigid metal
Spools at 20,000 RPMs+
Maximum Boost in less than 1/10 of a second
2” – 3.5” Rubber Couplers
High-Flow Air Filter Unique Design *Optional
Step-by-step Installation Guide in Manual
Metal Securing Clamps

any thoughts on this ?? under 200 bucks seems good if it actually works

ive done some more researching on this, the fan cant boost, it just throws more air, it wont work like a compressor, and most times the engine will pull more air then the fan can push anyways. seems pointless i guess. unless someone can show proof it works i think ill stick to a real turbo plan lol

go to thrift store, look on craigslist and shop for a electric leaf blower.

how much boost is possible with a leave blower ? lol

We ran the riding mower at work and stuck a gas leaf blower on the carb didnt seem to make it run any different LOL, blows lots of air but i dont think it would actually build pressure up.

Leaf Boosted for the win.

Don't forget, you will HAVE to get a new flux capacitor large enough to help handle that extra amount of boost.

I really do want to see someone install one of these... it would be a good laugh to run on a dyno and see the actual results.

negative results do to restrictions?

i'm still keeping an open mind to the 'tornado' (piece of metal you stick in your air filter pipe, that 'swirls' the air, for a smoother and quicker entrance apparently), hard to tell from reviews if they are bull or not. i dont foresee much horsepower but better fuel economy is a main seller.
