Or because its a base with a swapped cluster and the oil sending unit has not been replaced with an oil pressure unit. I have the same thing on the base I have.

i think i iknow nothing about your car and i know its a v6... hehe.

What did you use to do it. When I had reverse glow gauges I made mine blue. I just sanded off the old stuff and used a blue sharpie. I though I had pictures but can't find them. Only thing is I don't know if the glowed from the back-light of the gauges or from the needle itself. How do yours look at night?

I did I 2 step sanding process on the old paint to make them perfectly clenan and smooth and then I used a touch up brush with color matched paint for my car to put about 2 coats on. They light up very well at night but pictures don't do any justice
