Woody fixed it and I also figured out how to manipulate the letters as well so I think we are all set. I'd really love to get ONE of the small door stickers though and the dimensions of the rear so then I would be golden.

Re: GTZ, GTU and Indy Decals
So I scanned and played with the fender decal... I will see if they can print this.
Unfortunately I don't know if he can do a print then tell it to cut on the outside border... it would be cool if he could.

Nice....
I'll probably have to get a couple sets of these when they're available.

Anyone worth a grain of salt should be able to do that no problem. That's why we are paying to replicate these 100%. On clear vinyl. NOT white vinyl.3X00-Modified wrote:Unfortunately I don't know if he can do a print then tell it to cut on the outside border... it would be cool if he could.

These look awesome. I do not have a indy but I do appreciate you doing this Jon. I'm glad someone is taking the time for this.

You do realize that there are two colors for the Indy's silver and charcoal, depending on whether it's teal or yellow.....

Yes I'm aware of this... I have a Yellow set therefore they are Black lettering. All of these scans are in Photoshop and each entity is isolated so I can easily change it from black to silver.

Re: GTZ, GTU and Indy Decals
You have no idea how long it took to get those from scans to what they are... I think my company paid me yesterday to replicate Indy decals and they didn't know it... LOL
With the amount of decals floating around on this site as well and everyone knowing how rare they are why am I the first one to actually take the time to scan these? What was stopping everyone else from at least digitally archiving the decals?

Re: GTZ, GTU and Indy Decals
i think there was some that tried but it involved destroying original stickers which are scarce. technology has come a long way though.

Re: GTZ, GTU and Indy Decals
I can't figure out why one would have to "destroy" them, Worst case scenario that I was anticipating was having to apply the decal to something to scan it... Granted then it can not be used on a vehicle but you could try over and over again at scanning it till you get it right. I'm using a scanner from 2005 so it's not the latest and greatest...
The Fender decal is a 786meg PSD so its got a lot of detail.
Up next is the OEM windshield banner... this is going to be fun... the door sticker was 4 scans, this will probably be 6-7 that have to get matched up.
Also the question is... Since these are listed as "charcoal" do we want to attempt to match that color or are we just going to change it to black?
